In recent weeks, several businesses in Qaqortoq have experienced vandalism and theft in their shops and restaurants. This has created concern in the community, and the mayor has therefore called a meeting with the relevant authorities to address the situation.
Greenland Business in Qaqortoq now wishes to take an active role in finding solutions.
“We want to lend a hand. We want to support young people and show them that there are always choices in life. To stop these incidents, we must help each other. We are ready to assist the authorities,” says Aqqaluk Abelsen, Chairman of Greenland Business in South Greenland.
