Local cuisine course proves a success

At the beginning of the week, renowned Greenlandic chef Inunnguaq Hegelund held an inspiring cooking course for residents of Nanortalik. Throughout the week, the focus has been on different diets, and today it is Narsaq’s turn to participate.

There were 17 participants in Nanortalik, where the theme was how tourists can enjoy culinary experiences based on local ingredients.

The course is sponsored by South Greenland Boat Charter 44, which covers the chef’s travel and accommodation expenses. The company wants to increase its focus on food, as tourists want to experience local ingredients. The course was free, and participants could bring their own ingredients.
