Strong input from ISG’s board seminar in Narsaq

Innovation South Greenland has just held a two-day board seminar in Narsaq. The focus was on the three largest business areas in South Greenland: tourism, food, and fishing.

The seminar featured presentations from Air Greenland, Icelandair, Visit Greenland, Greenland Airports, and PT Capital, among others. They presented their plans for the development of the region, with a particular focus on the airport in Qaqortoq, future infrastructure, and new opportunities within experiences.

INUVA presented its mentoring program for Narsaq and shared experiences with tourism development in the area. This led to fruitful discussions on how tourism can be strengthened in the coming years.

In the food and fisheries sector, companies such as Neqi A/S, Brugseni, Pisiffik, Royal Greenland, and Arctic Prime Fisheries participated. They presented both their work and their plans.

The seminar clearly showed that South Greenland offers great opportunities—now it is a matter of seizing them together.
