Over the weekend, a FAM trip was held in South Greenland, organized jointly by Visit Greenland, Air Greenland, and Innovation South Greenland.
The trip took place in connection with Vestnorden Travel Mart—the annual travel fair for Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. Travel agents from Norway, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and the US participated and were guided through Qaqortoq and the UNESCO Kujataa areas.
There was a special focus on Qaqortoq, where the new airport is expected to open in April 2026, as well as on the UNESCO Kujataa areas. It was a great opportunity to show what the region has to offer future visitors.
The trip included local meetings, nature, culture, and culinary experiences, as well as many good conversations about the region’s potential.
